HOPPY SPRINGS SPLASHES ONTO THE SCENE!!!

AUBURN, CA - On October 01st, at the 17th annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado, those "Purveyor's of Fun®" at the Hoppy Brewing Company are set to debut their Hoppy Springs™ "Pre-Brewed" Spring Water as the exclusive premium bottled water for the event.

Why debut water at a beer festival one might ask??? According to Mr. Troy Paski, Hoppy Brewing's President & CEO, "We felt that with beer being 90% water, and the water we use coming from high in the Sierra Mountains, that it only made sense for us to offer thirsty beer-drinkers at the nation's largest beer festival our water in its pristine natural [pre-brewed] state. In addition, after trying our water, we hope that people will more fully appreciate the care and attention to detail that goes into all of our fine beers," finishes an excited Mr. Paski.

Over the years, Hoppy Brewing has used its company stock as a method of raising capital for various projects, and has routinely funneled its revenue back into the company in order to produce more beer and grow its sales volume in a competitive marketplace. However, with the release of Hoppy Springs, they are creating a different kind of investment opportunity for those interested in earning more of a short-term return on their investment than the average returns in the stock market as of late.

Rather than selling their company stock with their investors making a long-term commitment in their company, they are now taking applications for people who want to make a short-term investment in $1000 increments towards their current water production projections. "What we are interested in doing is having people submit the rate of return they would like to receive, and then if we end up using that persons money, we will funnel that premium for the use of their money during any 60 day period back to them," comments Mr. Andrew Reid, Hoppy Brewing's new Chief Financial Officer.

"In addition, for our existing investors, we also have a [special] water incentive going on to help kick off our new product. Plus, for those who get involved on the ground floor of this project, we will also put them on a priority list for any future investment opportunities that may occur," finishes an enthusiastic Mr. Robert Helms, Hoppy Brewing's Director of Investor Relations.

For more information on this investment opportunity, please contact Mr. Helms at 530.888.0753 ext. 42, or feel free to email him at robert@hoppy.com with your questions or comments. In addition, if you are interested in becoming a distributor for this fine product, feel free to just reply to this newsletter, or contact Mr. Paski at extension 22 with your interest.

Lastly, for those of you who are interested in a sneak preview of the upcoming product, a draft label can be found at: http://www.hoppy.com/hoppysprings.jpg.

HOPPY SIX-PACK RETURN PROGRAM...

PLACERVILLE, CA - Since their inception in 1994, Hoppy Brewing has always had an interest in environmental issues as can be found by the big, bold text on the bottom of their six-pack carriers - PLEASE RECYCLE - HELP SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT. Therefore, with the cooperation of David Coody at Hangtown Brewery, they are initiating their first ever six-pack carrier return program.

"Basically, for every 12 Hoppy six-pack carriers that someone brings back into the brewery in relatively good condition, they will receive a complimentary pint of beer. In addition, we are looking for people to autograph their carriers, so that our customers can get a better idea of the journey that each carrier goes on," comments Hoppy's Sales Director, Mr. Andy Brinck. "However, if stopping by the brewery in Placerville is not convenient, then feel free to mail them back to us. We will send you a coupon that you can use the next time you are making that weekend getaway to Tahoe," concludes a radiant Mr. Brinck about their new program.

In addition, if you are planning on stopping by the brewery, or would like to help the Hoppy Crew do some bottling, please send Troy a note so that you can be put on a mailing list to be informed when such activities are going on.

For more information about Hangtown Brewery at their current location at 560-A Placerville Drive, their 14 barrel brewhouse, or their tasting room hours, they can be found online at their web site address http://www.hangtownbrewery.com, or via the telephone at 530.621.3999.

HOPPY FINDS TROY GUEST BARTENDING!!!

AUBURN, CA - Guest Bartending??? Yes, Troy will be your "official" host on hand at Pistol Pete's Brew & Cue starting in September for all of your NFL action on Sunday mornings!!!

We recently caught up with Mr. Paski to ask him how he finds time to bartend. "Well...I was talking to Pete Aroz, the man behind the pistol, one afternoon about the upcoming NFL season, and he was saying that after working late on Saturday nights that it is difficult for his bartenders to make that quick turn around on Sunday mornings; so he asked me if I would be interested in coming in and guest-hosting the morning game," comments the usually energetic Mr. Paski.

"I have been pouring beer for years, but it has been about 15 years since I have actually done any [real] mixing of drinks, so I am a bit rusty, but am really interested in coming up with something special to get people excited about that morning football game. In addition, we are also talking about firing up the BBQ out front for some half-time appetizers," concludes an excited Mr. Paski.

Pistol Pete's is located at 140 Harrison Avenue in downtown Auburn. They have 24 beers on tap, 10 pools tables, 2 big screen TV's, and if you have the time, they have the GAME!!! More information can be obtained by calling them on the telephone at 530.885.5093, or online at http://www.hoppy.com/pistolpetes, which is another project that Troy seems to be working on at the moment...

HOPPY NEW STAFF MEMBERS...

AUBURN, CA - Hoppy's former financial officer, Mr. Patrick McKenzie, is passing the torch onto two new and extremely talented individuals. "Mr. McKenzie has spent the past four [event-filled] years with Hoppy, and we will miss his services, but we are also excited about the work that he is doing for GlobalStar. Gee...maybe he will even be able to find us a deal in their new telecommunications venture," comments Mr. Paski.

Assuming the role of Hoppy's day-to-day financial planning and financial management will be Mr. Andrew Reid. Mr. Reid is currently working on his MBA and is interested in using Hoppy as a vehicle to "test-drive and hopefully not wreck" some educational and economic models. He is also working as the Assistant Executive Director at the Sierra Economic Development District, which is how he initially became acquainted with Hoppy.

In addition, he will be joined by Mr. Roger Potter who will be responsible for Hoppy's corporate financial accounting and strengthening its overall corporate planning. Mr. Potter has seven years experience in corporate financial planning, and will be a tremendous asset to the Hoppy team as they continue to execute on their plan to take Hoppy public.

In addition to perfect weather conditions, the first batch of Hoppy beer out of the Hangtown Brewery was consumed by many enthusiastic tasters, all with many praises as to how good the Hoppy always is. Unfortunately, there were many thirsty tasters who were also looking to try the Liquid Sunshine and the Total Eclipse, but those beers were not quite ready for the festival commented a brewery spokesperson.

With the Hoppy Crew burning up the tattoo's at the Small Brewer's Festival the week before, many enthusiastic annual tattooee's we left without receiving their annual marking. However, word on the front range is that those tattoo's are sure to be found at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Better get your airline reservations now!!!
