HOPPY WALL OF FAME!!!
DENVER, CO - After last years introduction of the "Wall Of Fame", the Hoppy Crew™ came to Denver this year with more than just beer on their minds. The crew came with their Polaroid camera in hand ready to snap pictures of where the next tattoo might be creatively applied, as well as trying to sample over 1,700 different beers from over 400 breweries from around the country. Hoppy Brewing Company has been putting on little temporary tattoo's of their flagship product "Hoppy Face™ Amber Ale" for a number of years at various festivals. However, with its new brewpub in Sacramento, the Hoppy Crew™ unveiled a new [more aerodynamic looking] tattoo look for festivals earlier this Summer.
With a Polaroid camera in place, and the unique "Hoppy Wall Of Fame" with pictures of where people were putting their tattoo's nearby, the Hoppy booth was quite the buzz during the annual three day festival. "Each year I find it simply amazing where people will put a tattoo," comments Mr. Robert Helms, Hoppy's Director of Investor Relations and Promotions.
Questioned during a break in the festival action, Mr. Troy Paski, Hoppy Brewing's President & CEO, replied with the following thoughtful answer, "You get people to stand around your booth getting tagged and getting to know them [for a brief moment] - thereby creating a line of people and a connection with that person getting their tattoo. This in turn creates more people standing around wanting to see what's going on - just like a car wreck on the freeway. When you're done, they walk away from your booth and become a walking billboard for your brand/icon. Lastly, they wake up the next morning and go...oh yeah I remember that beer/brewery, and then they've got something to talk about with their friends. Hopefully, with the result if they see our beers some place, they'll remember the experience and decide to purchase our beers, maybe even visit our website, or at least talk about the experience with their friends. What other kind of advertising can capture that much time with a consumer for the price of a little tattoo," answers a rather thoughtful Mr. Paski.
The following website contains pictures of all of the hedonistic fun people were having with their tattoo placement at this years festival.

HOPPY FOOD ORDERING ONLINE...
SACRAMENTO, CA - Hoppy Brewing Company, being an early pioneer of the Internet to help spread the word about its growing microbrewery company, and its products, are once again taking bold leaps for a microbrewery/restaurant. According to Mr. Troy Paski, the restaurant food and beer menus are online and includes pictures/prices of the menu items available. However, what is not in place at the moment is the ability to order them directly from the online menu. "We're looking at growing another segment of our dining business by attracting people too busy to stay for dinner, but yet still want a quality meal to eat without having to make it themselves when they get home to the burbs," comments an excited Mr. Paski about this segment of the business.
"There are a few Internet food delivery companies out there like Food.com, which provides the customer with the ability to view a variety of different menus based upon location and type, order food from a particular establishment, and then either pick it up or have it delivered to them," adds Mr. Paski. "However, what we are looking to do with our site is help augment the phone calls and faxes we get each day with to-go orders with online ordering. Hopefully, we will make it very easy for our customers to place an order online with the comfort level that when they get here their order will be correct and ready for them - this way they can even take some of our yummy brews home with them too," concludes an enthusiastic Mr. Paski.

HOPPY TO HOST BREWER'S...
SACRAMENTO, CA - According to the Hoppy Brew Crew, with the dates for the American Brewers Guild's Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering classes fast approaching, they will be busy converting the existing bottling area into a lab, and one of the back storage areas into a new kegging/bottling area. "We are excited about having the students here, and if we have to do a little extra work to accommodate them, well then it is worth the effort to see and hear what is on the minds of the next crop of brewers," comments Mr. Tom Frisbie, Hoppy Brewing's Head Quality Control Brewer.
If you have an interest in brewing, or becoming a brewer, and would like more information on what the school has to offer, you can visit them online at http://www.abgbrew.com, or simply call them at 800.636.1331, we are quite sure you will get more than your monies worth by going through the program.

HOPPY UPCOMING EVENTS...
This coming Saturday, November 06th at 1:05pm, features CSUS Homecoming and the final home-game of the season at Fred Anderson field. Should the hometown boys of the gridiron prove victorious, there is a good chance that the coach will drop in for his post-game radio wrap-up here at the brewpub.
On Thanksgiving, November 25th, we will be offering an Orphan Thanksgiving Dinner for those students unable to make it home for the Holiday. On that day we will open later than our normally scheduled time at 4:00pm. In addition, the Hoppy Crew is working with Pepsi, KWOD, and the Sacramento News & Review to put together a "Feed the Homeless" event somewhere downtown earlier in day, but have yet to iron out the details as of this news release...
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24th & 25th, we will modify our daily schedule by closing (at least the kitchen) at 8:00pm on Christmas Eve and opening for a "Let Us Do the Cooking" Christmas Dinner on the 25th at 4:00pm. With Christmas Day being one of the biggest movies days of the year, just bring in your movie stub from that day to receive a complimentary pint brew... Just our little way of saying Merry Christmas to our customers!!!
On December 31st, you know it, it is New Years Eve, the last party of the century and the Hoppy Crew will be partying like its 1999 - well actually it is, but don't tell the guy formerly known as Prince that... Make sure you make your reservations now for that evening, since it will be the last time you will get to a chance to drink a Hoppy brew in this millennium, or it will be your first chance to drink one in the next millennium...
So with the holidays just around the corner, make sure to book your holiday parties early so that you can have the greatest likelihood of getting your first choice of dates. Remember...the craft brew industry is very competitive, and we can always use your help when you are out there in the bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and etc. How can you help us you may be asking yourselves??? Well...we need you to ask your local retailer(s) for our products (to the point of bugging them if necessary), so that you are able to buy the products that you "really" want - not just what is on the store shelf, or on-tap, at the moment...
You, the consumer, have more power than you may know. Speak up, speak clearly, and your earnest taste buds may reap those proactive rewards. If you do this, then we are sure it will not be long before you will be able to enjoy our Liquid Sunshine™ Blonde, Hoppy Face™ Amber, and Total Eclipse™ Black Ales, along with our Hoppy Springs™ "Pre-Brewed" Spring Water outside of attending a local festival, or even visiting us here in Sacramento...
