HOPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

SACRAMENTO, CA - On Mother's Day, which is this coming Sunday, May 08th, we will be open at 9:00am with a Special Mother's Day Brunch. In addition to the Brunch, and to further help celebrate this SPECIAL day, each MoM gets a long-stem rose; along with a glass of champagne, or a pint of Hoppy, included in the price of their meal all day long. Therefore, do not procrastinate any longer; make your reservation now to take advantage of the best deal in town, and show up to celebrate Mother's Day with MoM and Hoppy this coming Sunday!!!

HOPPY NEW DINNER HOURS...

SACRAMENTO, CA - With daylight, along with the heat, lasting well into the evening during the summer here in Sacramento, Hoppy is extending dinner hours by a half hour effective May 01st.

Basically, the kitchen will be open on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays until 9:30pm, and on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until 10:30pm. Wednesdays will continue with the half price appetizer special from 9:00 to 10:00pm, followed by South Park at 10:00pm.

Just in case you did not know, Hoppy features a daily late-night H"o"ppy Hour from 10:00pm until we close with $2.50 pints and $10.00 pitchers. Therefore, if you are looking for the best value in town, and are in the mood for a late night dinner, show up on Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday at 10:00pm to satiate your appetite with Hoppy!!!

HOPPY UPCOMING EVENTS!!!

Yes, it's Cinco de Mayo on Thursday already!!! Join us here at Hoppy with some of the tastiest carnitas this side of the boarder all day long; along some other yummy specials coming out of the kitchen and bar. It only happens once a year; so why go some place else when Hoppy features authentic south of the border cuisine???

As summer quickly approaches, it is once again to change up the menus a bit... Look for a new Lunch menu starting on the 16th of this month, followed by a new Dinner menu on the first of June. As far as what some of the changes will be, well it most likely consist of some of the upcoming daily Lunch and Dinner Specials...

With the coming of the month of May, charitable events basically turn from indoor fund raisers to outdoor full-on beer festivals - still raising money for charity though... :) Below is a list of what Hoppy has going on for the month.

On Saturday, May 14th, from 1-5:00pm, the 5th Annual West Coast Brewers Festival, supporting "Make A Difference Project", will be held in Miller Park & Marina on the Sacramento River, which is at the west end of Broadway (2790 Marina View Way) here in Sacramento. This "cool" beer festival will be featuring breweries from the West Coast, great live music and food, an awards ceremony for the brewers, and it's all for only $20.00 advance or $25.00 at the gate. Tickets can also be purchased at one of your local breweries here in Sacramento, which includes us here at Hoppy, or online at their website.

On Saturday, May 21st, from 4-10:00pm, is the 11th Annual Sudz in the City at Grizzlies Stadium in downtown Fresno. Tickets are $25 and more information can be found by contacting Stanley Kooyimjian at 559.490.9966 or via email at mailto:stanley@downtownfresno.org .

Rounding May out and starting the traditional weekend of summer on Saturday, May 28th from 12:00-7:00pm is the Northern California Rhythm & Brews Festival at Travis Credit Union Park in Vacaville. On Memorial Day, Monday May 30th, in addition to our regular $2.50 pint & $10.00 pitcher special, we will also be more than our normal child friendly brewpub that day by offering a kids eat FREE meal for children 12 and under with an adult meal purchase - within reason... :)

On Saturday, June 04th, from 1-5:00pm, is the 14th Annual Beerfest, a benefit for Face to Face, in Santa Rosa at the Luther Burbank Center featuring 38 local breweries, 26 Food purveyor's and music will be provided by FREE PEOPLES! Tickets are $30.00 in advance or $35.00 day of the event.

Also on that same day is the Back to the Boatyard Monterey Beer Festival near Cannery Row in Monterey from 12:00 to 5:00pm. Tickets are $20 in advance per person, or $30 day of the event. HOPPY RECENT EVENTS...

Our Lucky Dinner Winner for the month of May is Mr. Aaron Criswell, who is an Account Executive from New Country 105.1 KNCI-FM here in Sacramento. Congratulations Mr. Criswell!!! We look forward to serving you and your friends a complementary dinner for up to four friends and/or family on any weekend!!!

Looking for a place to watch a KINGS game during the playoffs??? Well...from time-to-time when the weather is nice, we add a TV set to the outdoor patio to help accommodate those who wish to sit outside and yet would like to watch the game. YES, it does help with the overflow crowd as well... Also, just like last year, we will be suspending reservations during KINGS games in the main dining area. Therefore, if you have a group of people and want a great seat for the game in front of BIG screen, then make sure that your entire group arrives early... :)

Our brewpub is open daily during the week at 11:00am serving some of the best valued Lunches, Dinners, and Daily Specials in the area, and on weekends at 10:00am serving Brunch until 3:30 followed by Dinner at 4:30. We are always looking forward to sharing our day with our valued customers. However, as some of you already know, Lunch can get quite busy from time-to-time during the week; so if you are on a tight schedule, please try to avoid the noon hour for sharing if possible - especially if you have a large party.

Also, in addition to our normal "daily" Hoppy Hour from 3-6pm, and our LATE-NIGHT Hoppy Hour from 10:00pm till Close, featuring $2.50 pints and $10.00 pitchers, we have a number of other incentives here at our brewpub for you to enjoy:

* On weekends from 10:00am to 3:30pm, we feature a tasty
Brunch Menu with $5.00 Belvedere Bloody Mary's.
* On Sundays we feature the BEST deal in town, where we
include a bottle of Hoppy brew to go with every
Brunch/Lunch/Dinner entree purchased. PLUS - we have
Hoppy Hour prices from 3:00pm until we close!
* On Sundays & Mondays we feature $0.99 children's meals
with an adult meal purchase.
* On Mondays we feature $2.50 pints & $10.00 pitchers all day
from when we open until we close.
* On Wednesdays we have half price appetizers from
9:00-10:00pm, and a South Park special with $2.50 pints &
$10.00 pitchers starting at 10:00pm with South Park.
* On Saturdays we feature $2.50 pints & $10.00 pitchers from
the time we open at 10:00am until 6:00pm.

Also, our logo gear (i.e., fleece, polo shirts, t-shirts, pint glasses, ball caps, beanies, and etc.) can make for a GREAT gift any time of year. However, if you are not sure about our merchandise as a gift, we also have Hoppy Logo Gift Cards available in your denomination of choice for use here at our brewpub to give as a present as well...
