CHICAGO - The Beverage Tasting Institute (BTI) recently conducted their World Beer Championship (WBC) competition and Hoppy Face won a Silver Medal in the India Pale Ale category. "Although we have won other awards", says ecstatic account executive Andy Brinck "this is by far our most prestigious. Our next goal is to win a medal at the annual Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Denver".
"The WBC competition is conducted by the institute to help inform consumers as to what enjoyable beers are available on the market. It is not a competition geared toward how well a beer "fits" a certain style, as in the case of the GABF", adds Andy. "In any event, with articles in issues of All About Beer, Wine Enthusiast, Restaurant Hospitality, and The Food & Drink Network on AOL we fully expect to see our sales increase. We are looking forward to the challenge of being able to meet the expected demand from this type of exposure", muses Andy... "However, as challenges go, this is a great one to have!"
"It would be nice to start every year this way, and perhaps ending the year winning a medal at the GABF", interjects company president Troy Paski.
