HOPPY BEER UPDATE!!!
SACRAMENTO, CA - With the high-octane Hoppy Scotch about to run out, and with our Hoppy Hunnies Wheat getting rave reviews, one can hardly wait for the upcoming Super Hoppy Pale Ale to arrive. The Hoppy Scotch was a nice malty beer that was appropriate for a cold rainy February, and the Honey Wheat is a nice teaser for the return of the Hefeweizen expected in April, but according to sources in the brewery, the Super Hoppy is such an unique brew, that is so totally over the top, that you might actually want to write home to Mom and let her know about this brew. The Super Hoppy is pumped up to whopping 106 IBU's, which makes it [really] bitter, and it just happens to be the frequency of the local alternative radio station KWOD. Just a coincidence???
On the packaging front, new tap-handles have finally arrived, and new labels with updated artwork are expected to arrive in a couple of weeks. According to Mr. Tom Frisbie, Hoppy's Head Packaging brewer, "with Spring upon us, and at our price point, the Sacramento market is an exciting opportunity to expand awareness of our brewpub and our brands, and I look forward to going out and meeting new customers and spreading the awareness of our award winning products."
If you have an interest in carrying one of our products, just contact Tom at 916.451.6328 ext. 1-38, or just email him at tom@hoppy.com with details about where you are and what you want.

HOPPY RECENT EVENTS!!!
Our Lucky Lunch Winner for the month of February was Ms. Cheryl Fusselman, from Corporate Products, Incorporated. Congratulations Ms. Fusselman!!! We look forward to serving you your complementary lunch!
Remember, if you have a chance to visit us here at the brewpub, be sure to drop your business card in the jar by the door on your way out to be eligible to win a complimentary Lunch and Drink on us. As my Mom says, "you can't win if you don't play" - thanks Mom...On the day before Valentine's Day, the KWOD gang held their second annual KWOD 106.5 Valentine Frenchie here at Hoppy Brewing! Basically nine couples started kissing in our fireplace room at 10:00am, and they continued kissing until there was only one couple left - some 13 hours later... Boomer, the afternoon DJ at KWOD and mastermind behind this annual event, spent most of the day broadcasting live from the brewpub while the interns religiously kept an eye on each of the couples. This years winners (Alysia Gamboa and Mark Lopez) will receive a week in the world's most romantic city - PARIS - this coming May!!!
On February 24th, around 3:30pm Thursday afternoon, Chicken Little was right - "the sky is falling" - actually came true. With absolutely no wind, rain, heat, cold, or any other adverse weather conditions in effect, the front facade of Hoppy Brewing came crashing to the ground. Fortunately nobody was injured in the event. Sources in the brewpub attributed this building failure to "sales are going through the roof" type of incident. It seems that February was a record month for sales, and the old building just could not handle all of the rocking going on inside...

Remember...the craft brew industry is very competitive, and we can always use your help when you are out there in the bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and etc. How can you help us you may be asking yourselves??? Well...we need you to ask your local retailer(s) for our products (to the point of bugging them if necessary), so that you are able to buy the products that you "really" want - not just what is on the store shelf, or on-tap, at the moment...
You, the consumer, have more power than you may know. Speak up, speak clearly, and your earnest taste buds may reap those proactive rewards. If you do this, then we are sure it will not be long before you will be able to enjoy our Liquid Sunshine™ Blonde, Hoppy Face™ Amber, and Total Eclipse™ Black Ales, along with our Hoppy Springs™ "Pre-Brewed" Spring Water outside of attending a local festival, or even visiting us here in Sacramento...
